Healthcare Business Leader
An alumnus of the University of Southern California, Yury Gampel is a philanthropic healthcare executive and real estate investor. Yury Gampel is the founder of a company that specializes in minimally invasive vascular procedures and has saved thousands of limbs and lives. In addition, he managed several pain management centers.
Mr. Gampel has prior healthcare business experience as a partner in multiple outpatient surgery centers and as the owner of a physical therapy company with locations in several states. He sold his share in the surgery centers to large companies, including Amsurge and Symbion, and sold his physical therapy business to private equity in 2017. An experienced real estate investor, as well, Mr. Gampel manages a multi-state portfolio. Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years as a practicing chiropractor.
As a philanthropist, Yury Gampel is committed to supporting at-risk and vulnerable populations worldwide. He created the Embrace Foundation with his wife, Irene, to provide critical financial assistance to charities helping victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and modern-day slavery. Since launching the foundation, the Gampel family has benefited organizations such as Amigos for Christ, Good Shepherd Center, and Mission K9 Rescue, a charity that rescues and rehabilitates retired working and military dogs.
Mr. and Mrs. Gampel also prioritize assistance for seniors and the Jewish community via the Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS). In May 2024, they donated $50,000 to JCS to help fund a bus for the Senior Ride Program, which provides free transportation for local seniors to grocery stores, pharmacies, and medical appointments, among other destinations. The bus is named in honor of Irene Gampel’s grandmother, who lived through the Holocaust.
Outside of Mr. Gampel’s charitable endeavors, he is training for the Everest Base Camp trek.
